Title: Attaching photos - 20k limit?

I've been trying to ask a question and attaching photos to ease the description.  I insert the images by copying and pasting them into the message compose window.  However, every time I try to submit, I get the error

"The message exceeds the maximum allowed length (20000 characters)."

How am I supposed to attach a couple images to my question when there is a 20k limit?

I found that if I expand the "Additional Options..." checkbox, I have the option to attach files, and those attachments don't apply to the 20k character limit.
